Our Goal

SushiMaker.org is made by sushi lovers, for sushi lovers!  Our goal is to provide a high-quality community of sushi eaters, sushi chefs, or anybody who likes the word “sushi”.  You should expect a healthy environment in which you can share recipes and build an accurate and respected database of knowledge.  Think of SushiMaker.org as the Wikipedia that specializes in sushi!

At the same time, our goal is to help you find information about sushi.  You may find links to places that actually have a better source for what you want to find.  While it would be great if all of that content was on this site, we understand that that is impossible!  So if we think it will help you, we will recommend other places for you to check out.

Your Contribution

SushiMaker.org depends on your contribution!  While we put in as much quality-content that we can, we rely on our users to not only rate and comment on our author’s content, but we also rely on YOU to become an author by registering and contributing your love of sushi!

About Ads

You may notice that our site has some advertisements.  Our goal is not to trick you into clicking on an ad, our goal is to provide sushi lovers with a high-quality contribution platform.  We try to make sure that all of the ads placed on our site are distinguishable from the content you want to find.

On the right side of the page, the tall graphic ad is proceeded by the word “Advertisements”, as are the ad-links on the bottom of the right side.  Sometimes if you are looking at an article or a set of articles, one to three ads may appear as rectangles between articles or before comments.

Ownership

SushiMaker.org is a project of Zero Mu, LLC, which is a small information technology company that specializes in web services.  Zero Mu is a for-profit organiztion, but don’t let that scare you.  Think of it this way: Zero Mu has stood up SushiMaker.org to satisfy your demand for high-quality sushi content.  If Zero Mu makes a little profit, that means that they are doing a great job and will continue to do so.  On the other hand if there is no profit, they should improve! Ok… enough of the economics.
